Another insane Desk combo for MvC3

Desk keeps suprising people.
He proves again and again that he has a better understanding of game engines than even most of the pro's, this combovid is a good example.

Enjoy!

PSN problems won't effect SSF4:AE release!

Good news for the Arcade Edition!

Someone on the Capcom Unity Boards asked if the problems with PSN will affect the release date of the game. The senior vice president of capcom responded quickly:

If the network is up at that time, I'm not expecting a delay. Thankfully, we've been ahead of the curve a little bit. If it were down to the wire, as it usually is, we might have had some difficulty.

Cool Marvel vs Capcom glitch found by Desk!

Desk, some hate him for being in the spotlights, some like him, but you can't deny he has an extremely good understanding of game engines and he learns quickly.

Halfway in the movie it's shown how to play like the small Felicia helper in training mode!

If there are people interested in combo videos, glitches or just generally good gameplay you should really check his channel!

A small funfact: Capcom said they would've offered him a job as tester and bugfinder for a nice salary, but since Desk never contacted them they asume he doesn't want to do it. So he actually refused a job offer from one of the bigger game companies so he could keep doing this as a hobby.

The first Namco vs Capcom fighting game (SF x T) will be released before march 2012.

Capcom released a financial report stating the approximate release 'date'. While there's still a lot of time between now and the end date of the financial report, it's at least nice to know that it won't take years before the game is released.

"According to a financial report Capcom put out, Street Fighter X Tekken will be released before the 2011 fiscal year ends, which is March 31, 2012.

The game is expected to sell 2 million copies, which was the same number of units Marvel vs. Capcom 3 ended up moving.

The other item of note is that Capcom plans to "Increase the number of home video games with DLC," and they will, "Provide downloadable content for all major titles for home video consoles." Street Fighter X Tekken should definitely fall into the category of a major title, so users can expect DLC in the future, after it is released."

Even though capcom is making a big load of fighting games, they're all selling quite well, especially considering that the fighting was supposed to be 'dead' a few years ago. I look forward to how big Capcom might become.

When is SF3:Third Strike Online coming?

By now Capcom confirmed that SF3:Third Strike Online is coming to the PS3 and Xbox360, but the release date is kept secret for now. A lot of clues were given, and according to www.eventhubs.com the game will probably be released late this year.

"Previously, Christian Svensson said a release would happen about 4-6 months after they started talking about the game a lot.

Svensson added recently that a deluge of information would be revealed about the game in 4 weeks, which likely means this year's E3 show, held June 7-9, 2011.

4-6 months after this time would be October to December 2011.

This isn't a for sure thing as there's no official announcement yet, but if things hold to form we should be seeing the game late this year."

It was already said that this game has a bigger budget than the HD Remix of SF2, so we have quite a lot to look forward to. Parrying is so much more fun than just holding downback to block.

Play the new Super Street Fighter Arcade edition in London this month!

Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition (SSFIV:AE) won't be released until June, but Gamespot hosts a booth on the MCM Expo this year and you've got an oppertunity to try the game there!

For the people who don't know this game yet: Arcade Edition is the second addition to SFIV. The first one was Super Street Fighter, which included more characters, more stages, a better UI and more gameplay balance. AE is going to include even more characters (Yun, Yang, Oni and Evil Ryu) and some new game modes.

"Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition won't be released until June, so MCM Expo London will be your first chance to catch a 30-minute preview of Capcom's brawler, as well as have a chance to play it yourself on stage. The best-dressed Street Fighter characters that come to the stage show at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 28 will also have a chance to win limited edition MCM Expo Street Fighter shirts."
